For most shops, three or four brewers cover demand: the compact Wilfa Zense for everyday kitchens, a Wilfa Performance or the new Sage Luxe Brewer Thermal for bigger households, and the xBloom Studio for smart single-cup pour-over. Hario’s V60 Drip Decanter is the manual entry point.
Customers who drink filter coffee in your café often want the same cup at home with less effort than a pour-over. A good brewer is the answer, and it sells steadily all year, not just at Christmas.

Pair any Wilfa brewer with a grinder and you have a ready-made upgrade: the Performance Compact + Uniform Evo bundle and Zense coffee maker + Zense grinder bundle are both in stock.
Wilfa brewers are made for home kitchens. Wilfa’s five-year warranty covers private household use and is void in commercial use, so for batch brew on a busy bar you’ll want commercial equipment. Where Wilfa earns its place is on your retail shelf, and as the brewer you recommend to customers who love your filter coffee. Read Wilfa’s warranty terms.
Wilfa recommends 60 g of coffee per litre of water. Print it on a card next to the brewer — it’s the question customers ask most.

What temperature should a filter coffee maker brew at?
Filter coffee extracts best between 92 and 96°C. Brewers that run cooler tend to produce thin, sour coffee. ECBC-approved brewers, including several Wilfa models, are certified to brew within the right temperature range and time.
How much coffee should I use in a filter coffee maker?
Wilfa recommends 60 g of coffee per litre of water. That’s 75 g for a full 1.25 L jug, 45 g for 0.75 L and 30 g for 0.5 L. Adjust slightly to taste once the grind is right.
What does ECBC approved mean?
ECBC approval means the European Coffee Brewing Centre has tested a brewer and certified that it meets its standards for brewing temperature, brew time and extraction — a useful shorthand for customers comparing machines.
Why does a coffee maker hotplate switch off after 40 minutes?
EU energy rules require filter coffee makers with a warming plate to switch it off automatically. Wilfa brewers switch off after 40 minutes. A brewer with a thermal jug keeps coffee hot without a hotplate.
Can I use a Wilfa coffee maker in my café?
Wilfa’s warranty applies only to products bought and used in private households and is void in commercial use. For batch brew on a café bar, use commercial equipment and stock Wilfa brewers for retail.
