Match the server to the dripper. Hario pairs a size 01 dripper with a 360 ml server, size 02 with 600 ml and size 03 with 800 ml or more. Use heatproof borosilicate glass for pour-over service, where customers can see the coffee, and a thermal jug when coffee has to wait.
The server is the part of a pour-over set-up customers see on the table. It needs to fit the dripper, hold the brew you make and pour cleanly. It also breaks now and then, which makes it a steady reorder.

The Barista Server is Hario’s latest glass server, redesigned from barista feedback. It’s made from heatproof, microwave-safe borosilicate glass, with clearer volume markings and a spout that doesn’t drip. It comes in 360 ml and 600 ml. Hario UK lists it at £35 and £38, against £17 for the Range Server, so it’s a premium upgrade rather than a replacement.
The Barista Server isn’t on our trade site yet. If you’d like it, tell your account manager.

What size server do I need for a V60?
Hario pairs a size 01 V60 with a 360 ml server, a size 02 with a 600 ml server, and a size 03 with an 800 ml server or larger. Size 02 with 600 ml is the most common café set-up.
What is the Hario Barista Server?
The Barista Server is Hario’s redesigned glass server in 360 ml and 600 ml, made from heatproof borosilicate glass with clearer volume markings and a spout designed not to drip.
Are Hario glass servers dishwasher safe?
Hario says the Barista Server is dishwasher safe but recommends hand washing to preserve the printed markings. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as putting a hot server into cold water.
Should a café use a glass server or a thermal jug?
Use a glass server for pour-over served straight away, where customers see the coffee. Use a thermal jug for batch coffee that has to wait, because glass loses heat within minutes.
What is the Hario Drip Decanter?
The V60 Drip Decanter is a 700 ml dripper and server in one piece. It brews like a V60 and pours from the same vessel, which makes it an easy retail product and a tidy counter brewer.
