New Releases

This year we have already seen the release of Virgina Walnut & Liquid Amber.

Comandante will also be releasing three new colours in early Q4 - including Alpine Lagoon & two more beautiful colours!


Availability

Black C40 (SKU: C40-BLACK) will remain the most readily available production model, with all wooden models considered ‘limited edition’, available in only very limited quantities.

Whilst Comandante's goal is to improve the availability of wooden models, it is extremely difficult to estimate output for a number of reasons:

• The supply of wood is unpredictable, particularly since the quality requirements for the veneer is very high.
• Every wooden model is the result of careful manual work by Comandante's team of wood experts. They are hand-made pieces requiring careful craftsmanship; not the product of a mass-production line; and take a lot of time and effort to finish.
• Every piece of veneer is hand-picked and laminated onto the grinder bodies manually, before being heat-stamped and then carefully sanded down. We oil every grinder at least 3 times in order to get the glossy finish that we want - a process that takes about two weeks.
